Its unbelievable the things my kids squabble about. Here goes....
- who washes their hands first
- who pees the fastest
- who helps me get things first
- who reaches the lift and presses the lift button first
- who gets out of the lift first
- who is first racing down the corridor to put their shoes in the shoe rack (which usually leads to another squabble of who gets into the house first! Ironic thing is that is not possible as they are blocking my door so I can't open it!)
- who bathes first
- who gets to play with Keziah first
- who picks up Keziah's dropped toy first
- who wears their shoes first
- who reaches the dining table first for meals
- whose turn is it to pray (leads to another squabble on what the "correct" kind of prayer should be like!"
- who holds Dan's hand (with the watch)
- who holds which side of the stroller
- who sleeps on which side of the bed when they come to snuggle in with us on the weekends
- who sits on Dan's knee in the cab
- who gets the aircon current in the cab
- who has the better seating position when it comes to reading bedtime stories
- that girls can only play 'masa masa' and boys can only play 'cars' etc...this happens when they play together and they get into an argument on whose spoon or car is theirs and feel that the other shouldn't play the same thing anymore
- Krisa will complain why Jedi gets to use the nebuliser or inhaler but she doesn't *smack forehead*
- Jedidiah will complain why Krisa gets to eat the orange medication for phlegm but he doesn't *smack forehead*
- whose eating spoon is bigger
Well, the list is endless...so that's why I feel so nutty at times!!
I have found a temporary solution on giving them their days..where Monday is "Krisa's Day" and Tuesday is "Jedi's Day" etc. Works so far on the who does what first...but not all the time!
No wonder I am so tired at the end of the day!!!!!! Good thing my littlest one can't use her mouth yet to join in the squabbling!
