I'm small but I'm ONE!

Our littlest person in the house has turned her big ONE on 11th July 2010!

Had a small celebration with family and close friends to celebrate her special day. Was really glad my mum could be here for her first birthday! (wish you were too Papa!)

She has been truly a wonderful blessing to the family. Her sweet smiles, affectionate muacks and funny antics have brought so much joy to the family. She has been a really good baby too in terms of not being fussy about food and being a good sleeper! Sleeps at 6.30 at night till 7.30 the next day so it's great as it gives us the much needed rest after a long day.

We thank the Lord for bringing her into our lives and pray that she will grow healthy and strong. We pray too that she will be the sweet-scented spice as her name means who will bring much joy to those around her and that she will have a loving relationship with her older siblings.

Thank you Lord for the little life that you have given to us and continue to give us the wisdom to nurture her in Your ways. Amen.

Jedidiah Turns 5!

On June 28th, our little boy turned a BIG 5!

This year we did something a little different. Usually we have the kiddies birthday bashes in our home and it is usually more adults than kids. So this year, we let him have the honour of doing his own guest list and had a McDonald's party for him. Was great fun for him and his little friends and cousins too!

Great for mummy & daddy too as not so much clearing up!!

Was lovely to have my mum back in Singapore for 3 weeks so she cold join us for the celebration too! Nothing like family and blood ties that always bind.

Happy Birthday dearest Jedi! We are so proud of you and we all love you very much. Praying you will continue to grow in the Lord in all your ways and be a blessing to those around you.

Happy Daddy's Day

This year, Jedi and Krisa did some handmade gifts for Daddy for Father's Day. They made star and flower magnets from liquid plaster that we put into soft ice-cube trays to harden. Then they coloured and decorated on their own Put it all in a gift box for Dan together with some handmade cards made in school to appreciate their Daddy.

This was Krisa's gift to her Daddy. Her magnets have the girly pastel-ly touch. Interesting to see how the colours represent the different genders!

WE LOVE OUR DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
