Visit to Science Centre

Had a recent outing with our church friends and their kids last month. Went to see the Pixar Animation which was more for the us than the kiddies. The kids had a blast at the water play area and later we all cooled off at Macs for nuggets, fries and ice-cream. The kids had such fun goofing around and being silly with their little pals! Lookiong forward to more outings like these again!

Sitting Up!

Here's Keziah at 9 1/2 months. She was screeching in the exersaucer giving me an earful. So I decided to take the step of faith being the ever over-cautious mummy as only have one pair of eyes which need to get stuff done in the house as well as keep an eagle eye on an overly-curious baby crawling around.

TA-DAH! Peace and no more noise from her little pipes!

But I have to keep an eagle eye on her as her crawling speed is picking up and her hands are getting more and more itchy!

Our littlest one is groiwng fast!

Just Standing Around...

Baby Keziah is growing so fast! She started sitting up and just last week standing in her cot! Gave me a fright as we have been lazy to lower the cot!

The fan was blowing her hair so she had the Marilyn Monroe look!

So finally my thumping heart was at ease when Dan lowered the cot all the way down. She is happier too just standing around and looking really proud of herself!

Things My Kiddos Squabble About

Its unbelievable the things my kids squabble about. Here goes....

- who washes their hands first

- who pees the fastest

- who helps me get things first

- who reaches the lift and presses the lift button first

- who gets out of the lift first

- who is first racing down the corridor to put their shoes in the shoe rack (which usually leads to another squabble of who gets into the house first! Ironic thing is that is not possible as they are blocking my door so I can't open it!)

- who bathes first

- who gets to play with Keziah first

- who picks up Keziah's dropped toy first

- who wears their shoes first

- who reaches the dining table first for meals

- whose turn is it to pray (leads to another squabble on what the "correct" kind of prayer should be like!"

- who holds Dan's hand (with the watch)

- who holds which side of the stroller

- who sleeps on which side of the bed when they come to snuggle in with us on the weekends

- who sits on Dan's knee in the cab

- who gets the aircon current in the cab

- who has the better seating position when it comes to reading bedtime stories

- that girls can only play 'masa masa' and boys can only play 'cars' etc...this happens when they play together and they get into an argument on whose spoon or car is theirs and feel that the other shouldn't play the same thing anymore

- Krisa will complain why Jedi gets to use the nebuliser or inhaler but she doesn't *smack forehead*

- Jedidiah will complain why Krisa gets to eat the orange medication for phlegm but he doesn't *smack forehead*

- whose eating spoon is bigger

Well, the list is endless...so that's why I feel so nutty at times!!

I have found a temporary solution on giving them their days..where Monday is "Krisa's Day" and Tuesday is "Jedi's Day" etc. Works so far on the who does what first...but not all the time!

No wonder I am so tired at the end of the day!!!!!! Good thing my littlest one can't use her mouth yet to join in the squabbling!

CNY 2010

I have been so super busy these days juggling my work and the kiddies that my blog has been super delayed in each post! *sobz*

Well, we had a busy Chinese New Year this year with all the visitations and stuffing our faces with bak kwa, food and more food. The kids especially Jedi now understands the concept of ang pows and can tell us with all frankness that this money can be used to buy his favourite toy or item once he earns his 3 apples.

Anyways here are some shots from our side...

As usual, I always miss my folks down under during this festive period. Always praying that one day we can have CNY with them too. That will be a real reunion as I haven't had a reunion dinner with them in almost 7 years! *sniff*
